Geelong Cats Sports Foundation

We encourage you to consider a donation to the Geelong Cats Sports Foundation. The Foundation’s purpose is to generate funds for the benefit of sporting clubs within Kardinia Park.

In 2007, the Foundation made its first grants to clubs totaling $105,000 which included a grant of $30,000 to our Club to fund the independent feasibility study into further development of the Kardinia Pool. We were delighted to receive the grant, and again thank the Foundation for their generous support and for sharing our vision.

The Foundation is registered with the Australian Sports Foundation, enabling donations to be tax deductible. All funds are invested, with only the investment returns available for distribution as grants to the Park’s clubs. Therefore, all donations will provide an ongoing benefit to the clubs. Funds under management currently total $2.1m.
