We recommend racing these targeted meets at least once a month, as the coaches will be in

attendance. Interspersed with competitions will be our club nights where we get to do some inhouse

racing.

Targeted Meets

As you can see, our competitions are spreed out roughly 1 month apart and mostly consist of back to back days. The reasons for structuring our competitions in this way are

1. The swimmers get used to racing back to back days

2. Gives coaches enough time to watch the swimmers race and asses if our training has been effective

3. Allows coaches and swimmers enough time implement any changes to training

4. Consolidate the amount of weekends spent racing

J P Flynn Club Night

J P Flynn Club Night is held on the last Friday of the month (unless there is a Cat’s game on). Following the club night, all swimmers will have the Saturday morning off.

It is a way to come together and enjoy an in-house competition and gives the coaches an opportunity to present their monthly coaches awards.

As per other Friday nights we will be running a mix of education and team building activities from 5:00 – 6:20pm and race from 6:30 – 7:45 pm.
