Geelong Swimming Club swimmers Phoebe Mitchell and Brad Doolan were members of the winning Australian team at the 9th DSISO World Championships in Truro, Canada.

Phoebe swam in 8 individual events for 5 Gold, 2 Bronze medals and 2 World records in the 50 and 200 Backstroke.
Phoebe was a member of 7 relay teams that won 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.
Phoebe finished second in the T21 Female swimmer of the meet.
Brad competed in 8 individual events qualifying for 6 finals. He won a Bronze medal in the 200 Breaststroke and the 100 IM.
Brad was a member of 2 relay teams that won Gold medals.
Both swimmers represented their Country with distinction.
Bradley and Phoebe were supported in their endeavours by Support staff member Sadat-Jon Hussain and Head Coach John Beckworth.
