Age: 13+

Recommended sessions: 7-9 per week

Purpose: A performance-based squad for swimmers competing at State and National Championships.

Junior Competitive

Coach: Shaun Ward

Age: 10-13

Recommended sessions: 5 per week

Purpose: A competitive based squad where swimmers focus on technique, training standards and race strategy. Swimmers in this squad compete at Country and State level.

Open Water and Distance Squad

Coach: Mitchell Norton and Liam Humphries

Age: 12+

Recommended sessions: 4-5 per week

Purpose: For swimmers who wish to improve their swimming for pool, open water, surf or other sports without the same commitment as our competitive squads.

Masters Squad

Coach: Kirsten Porter

Age: 18+

Recommended sessions: 2-3 per week

Purpose:  The Masters Squad Program is designed to provide opportunity for both competitive Masters swimmers and those looking to keep fit and enjoy the social aspects of swimming. 

Country Squad

Coach: Sadat Hussain

Age: 12/under + Multi-class swimmers

Recommended sessions: 4 per week

Purpose: For swimmers who wish to improve their swimming for pool, open water, surf or other sports without the same commitment as our competitive squads. This squad also caters for those swimming with a disability.

Development

Coach: Rob Steinman

Age: 8-12

Recommended sessions: 3 per week

Purpose: Progressing from the junior development squad, this squad aims to encourage and develop knowledge and skills in order to swim competitively.

Junior Development

Age: 8-12

Recommended sessions: 2 per week

Purpose: This entry level squad is designed to encourage and develop knowledge and skills in order to swim competitively.

Transition Squad

Coach: Lucky Weerakody

Age: 15/under

Recommended sessions: 1-2 per week

Purpose: For swimmers who wish to improve their swimming after completing their learn to swim. This squad is a bridging squad between learn to swim and club swimming.

Fitness Squad

Coach: Fiona Skinner Learn to Swim

Age: 15/under

Recommended sessions: 1-2 per week

Purpose: For swimmers who wish to acquire the skills required for school sports, nippers and swim club participation. The skills taught will include diving, tumble turns, and stroke correction. You can view more information here.
