2026: Our National Campaign

From first-time national swimmers to experienced finalists, GSC athletes stepped onto the blocks against the country’s best and delivered an unforgettable campaign.

The Gold Coast played host to Australia’s best swimmers this April, and GSC proudly took to the national stage across the 2026 Australian MC Age, Australian Open and Australian Age Championships.

The team raced with courage, professionalism and pride across every session, producing finals appearances, personal bests and breakthrough performances throughout the three national meets which were held one after the other:

• 2026 Australian MC Age Championships, held from 4-6 April 2026

• 2026 Australian Open inlcuding Open MC, held from 6-8 April 2026

• 2026 Australian Age Championships, held across the week of 11-18 April 2026.

Twenty athletes represented GSC on the national stage this year including seven making their Nationals debut.

2026 Australian MC Age Championships

27 Splashes. GSC opened the campaign strongly at the Australian MC Age Championships, with our athletes producing confident performances, finals appearances and valuable national-level experience against the country’s best multiclass swimmers.

41 Splashes. Competing alongside Australia’s senior elite, our swimmers stepped onto one of the biggest stages and rose to the challenge with outstanding performances across heats and finals.

44 Splashes. The Australian Age Championships brought together the nation’s best young swimmers for eight days of high-level racing, and GSC answered with determination, resilience and breakthrough swims throughout the week.

From finals appearances to personal bests under pressure, our athletes represented the club with excellence both in and out of the pool.
